New ranks coming!

A new set of rankings will be coming soon and I’d like to give you a preview. All the ranks will be re-named and there will be a new structure. We’ll probably put these in place over the weekend or early next week. The Guild officers felt that these new ranks would add more of a 'Draenei' feel to the Guild.

Initiate ranks:

Harbinger – This will be the introductory rank. It can use guild chat, but not recruit or have vault privileges.

Peacekeeper – It shouldn’t take long to reach this next level. It will allow 2 vault ‘stack’ withdraw per day.

Member ranks: promotion to and through these next ranks is more subjective, but there will be one ‘objective’ goal to be considered for each rank; the total skill points in the two main professions. All regular member ranks can recruit, and vault privileges increase by 1 stack per rank.

Envoy – This begins the regular ranks. Profession skill points must be 150 or more.

Anchorite – Here’s where promotion becomes more subjective. While a profession skill total of 300 is required, the Guild Master/Officers will also be looking for activity, helpfulness, and dedication to the membership of the guild.

Artificer – Skill totals must be 500 or more. This is the highest non-officer rank.

Officer Ranks: All officers can set the Message of the Day and promote members to higher ranks.

Vindicator – There may be as many as 3 or 4 of these.

Executor – Executive level, Guild leader, second in command. This will be Strago. Should we become large enough, a second may be chosen It’s best to have someone beside the Guild Master with all control capabilities.

Guild Master – Yours truly. There can only be one. This will be the only level with removal ability.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

A report from the Gultch.

It was a long, dreary weekend at Warsong Gulch. Both Strago and I were in and out of the Gulch trying to gain honor points and marks, but the horde players were being typical cowards, relying on twinks and bots.

Monday was a different story; I was on a couple winning teams for once! Then Stargo and I grouped up and joined some more, winning two out of three (if I recall correctly). And then Penywise joined us! It was fun, but we lost…seems the team we were on wasn’t interested in playing as a group or having a leader. Very important if you want to win...

But as a bonus, we all ended up together in Darnassus. This is the first time since the Covenant was formed that I can remember three of us together! We had to get a screenshot! I’m in the middle. That’s Strago on the left, and Penywise on the right. Guild tabards in all their glory!

I plan on staying at level 29 for a while. Battlegrounds are getting to be fun!

Welcome to the Draenei Covenant Guild blog!

If you've stumbled onto this page, this is the OFFICIAL blog for The Draenei Covenant, a players guild in the on-line game, World of Warcraft.

To our members; I'm hoping that this will help us better get information out in a longer format than is allowed in the game. Feel free to add your comments and questions, whatever! If you want to be a regular post contributor let me know and we'll set you up (you'll need a Google account).

For the Covenant,
